Founded by Alec Davison & Asantay Brown, Hyrox Houston was born from a simple realization: Houston — the #1 HYROX market in North America — had no dedicated training home for its growing community of athletes.
With 20,000+ athletes at the Houston 2026 event and 118% average participation growth, we built the facility Houston deserves — complete with HTC-X certification, official race equipment, and programming designed to take athletes from first-timers to podium finishers.

Asantay Brown
Asantay Brown is a former professional athlete turned performance-driven entrepreneur, built through adversity at every level.
A standout at Western Michigan University, he went on to compete across the NFL, XFL, and internationally with the Parma Panthers, where he helped lead an undefeated season and championship run in the Italian Football League.
After coaching a national championship team at Ferris State University and serving in the United States Army pursuing Special Forces, his path was again cut short by injury.
So he built something stronger.
After competing in HYROX Houston with just three weeks of training and posting a 1:13 finish, Asantay saw the gap—no true performance facility built for hybrid athletes.
Now, as co-founder of Houston’s first official HYROX training facility, his mission is clear:

Alec Davison
Alec Davison is the Co-Founder of Hyrox Houston and CEO of Davison Homes, bringing together elite athletic performance, institutional financial discipline, and high-level operational execution.
With a background as a hedge fund manager, U.S. Army Infantryman, a (3x) IRONMAN Finsher, HYROX Houston (PRO Division), and top-performing homebuilder, Alec operates with a systems-driven mindset focused on efficiency, accountability, and measurable results.
His experience leading full-cycle residential development directly translates into building scalable, performance-based systems within the fitness space.
